A dramatic rail journey




One of the most dramatic railway routes in England must be that from Waterloo East to London Bridge. It takes five minutes at most but goes through the most exhilarating cityscape, from iconic buildings of Southwark and the City to offices you can practically read the papers in to Dickensian rooftops and garrets close enough shake hands through the bedroom windows.
